2025 Year in Review
A Look Back at 2025. And a Thank You, Toronto.
As the year winds down, we’ve been thinking a lot about this city and the people who make it feel like home.
Toronto is always changing. New restaurants open. Streets feel different. Neighbourhoods evolve. But what stayed constant in 2025 was the sense of community we get to be part of every day. That’s something we never take lightly.
So before anything else, thank you.
For the conversations.
For the trust.
For letting us be part of big decisions and everyday questions alike.
What stood out around the city this year
This year reminded us how local moments matter.
We saw neighbourhoods come alive again with summer festivals and street events. Small businesses drew steady crowds. Parks, patios, and community spaces felt busy in the best way.
Across the city, we noticed more people spending time closer to home. Walking their blocks. Supporting local spots. Paying attention to how their neighbourhood actually works day to day.
That sense of place matters. Especially in a city as layered as Toronto.
A simple snapshot of the market in 2025
We know real estate conversations can feel overwhelming, so here’s the plain-spoken version of what we saw locally.
Pricing felt more balanced overall, with some areas holding steady while others adjusted. Inventory loosened compared to past years, giving buyers a bit more room to breathe.
Buyers were thoughtful and rate-aware. Fewer rushed decisions. More questions. More comparisons.
Sellers who prepared well and priced strategically did best. Presentation mattered. Flexibility helped.
It wasn’t an easy market. But it was a more honest one.
What mattered most locally
We saw clear differences depending on the type of home and location.
Single-family homes and well-run low-rise properties held attention. Condos became more nuanced, with quality, layout, and building management making a real difference.
Renovation decisions were more practical than flashy. People cared about long-term value, comfort, and efficiency.
Commute patterns continued to shift. Flexibility changed how people thought about space, not just square footage but how a home actually lives.
Our year, in service
This year, we helped a mix of first-time buyers, growing families, downsizers, and people relocating within the city.
Each situation was different. Each one mattered.
What stayed consistent was the focus on guidance over pressure and clarity over noise.
